About this opportunity

The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is issuing an electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) to procure security risk assessment services under the State Purchasing Act. The State seeks to establish a contract with one qualified supplier to conduct comprehensive security risk assessments across DBHDD-owned and leased facilities statewide. The primary objectives include identifying security vulnerabilities, recommending cost-effective mitigation strategies, and supporting the development of a long-term Security Master Plan that complements and enhances DBHDD's existing safety and security programs. Key deliverables will encompass detailed assessments and strategic recommendations tailored to facility operations. Given the sensitive nature of DBHDD operations, contractors must demonstrate expertise in security risk assessment methodologies and possess the ability to handle confidential information in strict compliance with DBHDD policies, state law, and applicable federal regulations regarding data security and confidentiality. The Request for Proposals was posted on December 19, 2025, with a proposal submission deadline of January 29, 2026.

The eRFP documents do not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged enterprise restrictions, incumbent vendors, or integration requirements with existing infrastructure or technology systems. Additionally, no award value or budget range has been disclosed in the available procurement information. Interested vendors should review the complete eRFP documentation for specific evaluation criteria, technical qualifications, experience requirements, and any additional terms and conditions that may govern this procurement opportunity.
