About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART), a government entity within Dallas County, Texas, is soliciting bids for the procurement of hex cap screws (Part Reference 2096791), sized 1/4 X 5/8 inches. This is a commodity procurement requiring vendors to submit pricing for the specified fastener component, with detailed specifications and visual documentation provided through attached photographs to ensure accurate identification and bidding. Bidders must register through the BONFIRE platform to access the complete project details, including quantities and the in-browser BidTable where vendor responses and pricing information will be submitted. The posted date for this opportunity is February 17, 2026, with a submission deadline of February 20, 2026. All bids must include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs incorporated into the overall quoted price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timelines are designated as essential contract requirements, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules subject to rejection and default termination by the Authority. Vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which are available in the Supporting Documentation section, and should review these requirements prior to submission.

The procurement does not indicate specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged business enterprises or other restricted vendor categories in the available documentation. However, all responding vendors must meet several compliance requirements, including certification that they are not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization connections and verification that they do not boycott Israel. Vendors must provide commercial warranties covering merchantable quality, fitness for intended use, and compliance with product specifications in addition to any other rights afforded under the order or by law. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and paid 30 days from receipt of invoice or order, whichever is later, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or budget values are specified in the available documentation. The contract is governed by the laws of the State of Texas with venue in Dallas County.
