About this opportunity
The State of Georgia's Environmental Protection Division issued an RFQ for scrap tire cleanup services across four state regions, with a May 27, 2014 bid due date; the solicitation was cancelled on June 26, 2014 due to zero responsive bids.
The procurement sought a primary contractor and a secondary contractor. Bidders could submit quotes for one or more regions of interest, but were required to include pricing for both types of project sites within each region they elected to bid. The scope required comprehensive cleanup including site preparation, scrap tire removal and transportation, recycling at Georgia-approved processors, and site restoration and stabilization.
Suppliers were required to register in Team Georgia Marketplace to access the complete RFQ and attachments, including the detailed Scope of Work in Attachment F and the State Entity RFQ Document in Attachment A. Questions were due by the deadline specified in Attachment A and had to be submitted in writing to Leigh Cureton at leigh.cureton@dnr.state.ga.us. The marketplace Help Desk at procurementhelp@doas.ga.gov or 404-657-6000 handled registration and system navigation issues.
