About this opportunity
Bartow County School System is requesting sealed bids for paper goods and supplies to support school nutrition operations during the 2026–2027 school year under IFB 2027-03, with bids due September 2, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. and public opening on September 3 at 9:00 a.m. at 65 Gilreath Road NW, Cartersville, Georgia 30121.
The scope covers paper products for school food service operations—serving trays, containers, napkins, and related disposables—with detailed material standards, dimensions, and performance requirements specified in Attachment B. Bidders must meet or exceed stated specifications addressing durability, food safety compliance, and functional performance. Pricing is submitted on the Quote Sheet (Attachment B) with line-item bids for specified quantities.
The contract runs October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027, with a mutual-agreement option to extend up to three months at the same bid pricing. The SFA may renew by mutual agreement for up to four additional one-year terms based on vendor performance. All bid prices must be firm and fixed for the initial contract period; subsequent price adjustments are limited to a 6-month basis and require documented market-condition changes verified by third-party publications. Prices must include packing and transportation to specified school locations and exclude federal excise tax and state sales tax.
The SFA intends to award to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, award to single or multiple vendors, or cancel the solicitation. Award is expected within 60 days of bid opening; submitted pricing remains valid during this period. Payment is due within 30 days of receipt of properly invoiced goods following inspection and acceptance.
Bidders must comply with Buy American provisions for food products, debarment and suspension verification, Equal Employment Opportunity requirements, HACCP standards where applicable, and cybersecurity protections for personally identifiable information. The contract may be extended to other school districts through piggybacking at identical terms and pricing. Written questions are due August 18, 2026. No pre-bid meeting is scheduled.
