Respondents must demonstrate a minimum of five years' experience providing landscape maintenance services for large public facilities. The scope encompasses lawn care, ground cover and shrub maintenance, tree care, mulch area management, irrigation system operation, debris cleanup, and marshalling yard upkeep across the convention center campus and three sixth-floor terrace areas. Required insurance includes Contractor's Protective Liability and Contractor's Public Liability with limits of $1 million per accident and $3 million aggregate. The proposer must maintain an on-site dedicated experienced gardener for 40 hours per week, conduct weekly crew visits, provide monthly inspections and reports, perform annual soil and turf tissue sampling through the University of Georgia, and implement a detailed 12-month quality control program. Pricing is submitted as a proposed monthly price for all services on the provided bid proposal form, with additional services listed separately.
The contract runs approximately two years with three optional one-year renewal periods, administered by the Savannah Convention Center Building Maintenance Department at One International Drive, Savannah, Georgia. Evaluation weighs technical merit at 70 percent (demonstrated experience, qualifications, stability, financial strength, references, and contract-term acceptance) and cost at 30 percent. Proposers must provide current financial statements or Dun & Bradstreet reports and a minimum of five references with similar facilities. Written questions are due October 13, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., with answers posted October 15 at 2:00 p.m. Contact the Issuing Officer, Roni Bell, at ronbell@gwcc.com or 404-223-4217.
