About this opportunity

The City of Boynton Beach Utilities Department is seeking sealed bids for a comprehensive Cured-In-Place Pipelining (CIPP) sanitary sewer rehabilitation project located in multiple neighborhoods including Chapel Hill, San Castle, Brighton Lakes, Heart of Boynton, and Rolling Green. The procurement involves installing CIPP liners for approximately 8,920 linear feet of existing sewer pipes ranging from 6-inch to 12-inch diameters, utilizing a resin-impregnated flexible tube method with hydrostatic head forming. Qualified firms are required to provide all necessary labor, equipment, materials, transportation, and services to complete the project, including obtaining all applicable permits, preparing engineering and shop drawings, and securing required bonds, securities, licenses, and insurance. The bid solicitation is identified as ITB No. 25-082B and will require comprehensive documentation demonstrating technical capability and compliance with federal, state, county, and local regulatory requirements. Sealed bids are due by September 25, 2025, with the opportunity originally posted on August 22, 2025, indicating approximately one month for potential bidders to prepare and submit their proposals.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement appears to be a standard competitive bidding process open to qualified professional engineering and municipal infrastructure rehabilitation firms. The project is located within Palm Beach County, Florida, and will require advanced technical expertise in municipal sewer infrastructure rehabilitation using CIPP technologies. No incumbent vendor information or specific budget range was provided in the original solicitation. Prospective bidders will likely need to demonstrate significant experience in municipal sewer rehabilitation, possess appropriate licensing and insurance, and have the technical capabilities to execute a complex multi-location pipeline rehabilitation project. The total project scope encompasses rehabilitation of sewer infrastructure across multiple neighborhoods, suggesting a significant municipal infrastructure improvement initiative with potential substantial project value, though exact budget parameters are not specified in the current documentation.
