About this opportunity

Gwinnett County is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for a non-emergency transportation service contract through Request for Proposal RP006-25, targeting transportation services for county residents. The Department of Community Services seeks a qualified contractor to provide pre-approved transportation solutions with an initial annual contract and potential for four additional one-year renewal options. The procurement aims to secure a comprehensive transportation service that meets the mobility needs of Gwinnett County residents, with specific emphasis on non-emergency transit. Potential respondents must demonstrate robust capabilities in managing transportation logistics, ensuring reliable and safe transit for county residents. Proposals are due on March 21, 2025, with the solicitation officially posted on February 26, 2025. Contractors must carefully review all submission requirements and ensure compliance with county procurement guidelines, including strict adherence to eligibility standards.

The solicitation includes specific restrictions preventing firms on the Gwinnett County ineligible source list from submitting proposals, regardless of automatic notification. While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, potential respondents should anticipate standard government procurement requirements regarding vendor qualifications. The contract appears designed to accommodate transportation service providers with established operational capabilities in managing non-emergency transit services. Though precise budget ranges are not specified in the available information, government transportation contracts typically represent significant annual investment opportunities. Interested contractors should thoroughly review the attached government file (RP006_25 INV.pdf) for comprehensive details on submission requirements, evaluation criteria, and specific service expectations. Potential vendors must demonstrate expertise in coordinating transportation services, maintaining vehicle standards, and ensuring consistent, reliable transit for county residents.
