About this opportunity

The state and local contract opportunity, identified as ROD, LOCK, ADJUST, M23B | 2096915, is a procurement issued by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) in Dallas County, Texas. The solicitation was posted on December 10, 2025, with a response deadline of December 17, 2025. Potential vendors must register through the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details and project specifications. The procurement requires vendors to submit bids with FOB Destination shipping terms, ensuring freight costs are included in the overall pricing. DART emphasizes that delivery timing and rate are critical, with potential default termination for sellers failing to meet specified delivery schedules. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org, with comprehensive documentation including purchase order number, item details, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The authority will follow Net 30 payment terms, processing payments 30 days from invoice or order receipt.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the procurement follows standard government contracting protocols with robust compliance requirements. Vendors must comply with equal opportunity employment obligations and provide certifications regarding Foreign Terrorist Organizations and Israel boycotts. The contract terms include provisions for commercial warranties, ensuring supplies meet merchantable quality standards and technical specifications. All contractual disputes will be governed by Texas law, with venue established in Dallas County. The contracting officer retains significant discretionary power, including the ability to make written order modifications and terminate contracts for default. Vendors should carefully review the attached Purchase Order Terms and Conditions PDF, which comprehensively outlines operational expectations, inspection protocols, and potential cost adjustments. While specific award values are not specified, the procurement suggests a structured, professional engagement with detailed performance expectations for potential suppliers.
