About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order for a rod end right-hand leveling valve (item number 2098714) in Dallas County, Texas. This procurement requires vendors to provide the specified component in accordance with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, with delivery being a critical performance requirement. Bidders must ensure all bids reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, as DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. The submission deadline is April 20, 2026, with the posting date of April 13, 2026, providing bidders with a seven-day response window. Vendors must register on the BONFIRE platform to access the complete bid details and response fields. The evaluation criteria emphasize timely delivery and adherence to specifications, with failure to meet delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination. Sellers are responsible for all inspections and tests to verify conformance to specifications and must provide commercial warranties at the most favorable terms offered to any customer.
DART's standard terms establish that all vendors must comply with Net 30 payment terms, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and paid 30 days from receipt of the invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later. The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations, restrictions on organizational types, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, incumbent vendors, or award value ranges. All disputes are governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County. Vendors must certify that they do not boycott Israel and that neither they nor their affiliates appear on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies contracting with Foreign Terrorist Organizations. The Authority retains the right to make changes to orders through written change orders with equitable adjustments to price or schedule when warranted, and the Contracting Officer may terminate the order for default if the Seller fails to perform any provisions within specified timeframes.
