About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking procurement of a Rod, Assembly, Guide, Upper component (Item No. 2098026) through a competitive bidding process. This purchase order opportunity is posted on the Texas Bonfire registration platform and requires vendors to register to access complete details and the bid table. The procurement is open to qualified suppliers capable of meeting DART's stringent delivery and quality requirements. All bids must be submitted with FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. The bidding deadline is February 19, 2026, with registration and submission required through the Bonfire platform's "Prepare Your Submission" process. Vendors must demonstrate their ability to meet time and rate of delivery specifications, as failure to comply constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination, and all supplies must be of merchantable quality and suitable for their intended use in compliance with technical specifications and drawings.

The procurement opportunity is subject to DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which include standard compliance requirements such as equal opportunity employment certification, conflict of interest certifications, restrictions on boycotting Israel, and prohibitions on involvement with foreign terrorist organizations as identified by the U.S. Secretary of State. Payment terms are established at Net 30 from receipt of invoice or order, whichever is later, with invoices to be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and containing specific information including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The specific award value or budget range for this procurement has not been disclosed in the available documentation. All purchase orders are governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County, and any modifications to the standard terms and conditions must be made in writing and signed by the Contracting Officer to be valid.
