The system must include six sediment filters with 5-micron replaceable cartridges, six carbon adsorbers (30-inch diameter maximum by 72 inches high), 24 cubic feet of carbon media per vessel, one UV disinfection unit, and one totalizing flow meter, configured to fit within an 8 feet by 10 feet space. All pricing must be submitted as a total lump sum bid including unit costs, freight, delivery, installation, virgin carbon installation with media backwashing, offsite disposal of backwash water with required waste characterization, a comprehensive operations and maintenance manual, one day of onsite training plus five years of remote technical support, a one-year supply of replacement parts, and labor and materials for one media exchange during the first year of operation. Sealed bids are due on July 10, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grand Haven Area Public Schools Education Service Center, 1415 Beechtree Street, Grand Haven, Michigan 49417, with delivery required on or before August 7, 2019 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., installation completion scheduled for August 8, 2019, and system testing commencing August 12, 2019.
