About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority is soliciting bids on ring wear items under purchase order 2099431, with proposals due June 5, 2026. Registration in the BONFIRE procurement system and completion of the "Prepare Your Submission" process is required to access the detailed bid table and project specifications.

All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price; DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Delivery timelines are of the essence — failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Payment terms are Net 30, with invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and payable 30 days from receipt of invoice or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later.

All vendors must comply with DART's Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish commercial warranties ensuring merchantable quality and compliance with specifications equivalent to the seller's most favorable commercial warranties. Additional requirements include equal opportunity employment compliance, certification that neither the seller nor affiliates boycott Israel, non-association with foreign terrorist organizations, and compliance with Texas law with venue in Dallas County. The Contracting Officer retains authority to make changes, terminate for convenience or default, and render final decisions on disputes, subject to appeal within 30 days.

Detailed project specifications and vendor response fields are accessible within the in-browser BidTable after initiating the submission process in BONFIRE.

In such event, the Seller shall be liable for damages, including the excess cost of reprocuring similar supplies or services or completing construction; provided that, if (i) it is determined for any reason that the Seller was not in default, or (ii) the Seller's failure to perform is without his and his subcontractor's control, fault, or negligence, the termination shall be deemed to be a termination for convenience under paragraph 12.
