About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is issuing a purchase order opportunity titled "RING, GUIDE" (Solicitation No. 2097687) for goods or services to be procured through a competitive bidding process. The solicitation was posted on January 27, 2026, with a submission deadline of February 13, 2026. This procurement is subject to DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish strict requirements for vendor performance, delivery, and compliance. While the specific goods or services being procured are not detailed in the available documentation, vendors must understand that time and rate of deliveries are essential to the order, and failure to meet delivery specifications constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and DART does not accept FOB Origin or Prepay and Add arrangements. Interested bidders must register through the BONFIRE system and initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process to access the detailed BidTable, project specifications, and vendor response fields. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis, with invoices submitted in triplicate containing the purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals.

The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations, minority-owned business enterprise (MBE) requirements, women-owned business enterprise (WBE) preferences, or disadvantaged enterprise restrictions. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. All responding vendors must comply with mandatory certifications regarding Texas law compliance, non-participation in boycotts of Israel, and non-association with foreign terrorist organizations, along with standard commercial warranty requirements ensuring supplies and services meet specifications and receive the most favorable commercial warranties provided to other customers. The solicitation document does not disclose the specific award value or budget range for this opportunity. Vendors should note that DART reserves termination rights for both default and convenience, and all submissions must include appropriate conflict-of-interest certifications and equal opportunity employment compliance documentation.
