About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a Ring, Compression, High Pressure Piston (Item #2097610) through a purchase order procurement process. This is a goods procurement opportunity posted on January 21, 2026, with a bid due date of January 28, 2026. Interested vendors must register on the BONFIRE platform to access complete project details and the bidding table. The procurement requires submission of competitive bids with pricing that reflects FOB Destination shipping terms, inclusive of all freight costs, federal, state, and local taxes, and duties. Delivery timelines and rates are considered essential to the contract, with the seller's failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and potential default termination. All invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include specific information such as purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. DART's standard payment terms are Net 30, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date.

The procurement opportunity documentation does not specify set-aside designations, disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) restrictions, or preferences applicable to this solicitation. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available documentation. The procurement requires compliance with equal employment opportunity provisions and includes certifications regarding non-affiliation with foreign terrorist organizations and Israel non-boycott status. All goods must meet merchantable quality standards, comply with stated specifications, and be covered by the most favorable commercial warranties offered to any customer. The specific budget range or award value for this purchase order is not disclosed in the posted opportunity materials. Vendors should note that DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes, and any such taxes included on invoices will be deducted from final payment amounts.
