About this opportunity

Los Angeles County Public Works is conducting a Request for Statement of Qualifications (RFSQ) for Graffiti Removal Services (BRC0000472), seeking to establish a prequalified contractor pool for on-demand graffiti removal work. The procurement aims to identify and qualify contractors capable of performing graffiti removal services as needed by the county's Public Works department. An optional proposers' conference is scheduled for Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. via Microsoft Teams, with electronic registration required. Key dates include Monday, June 2, 2025, for submission of written questions and Living Wage Exemption Form LW-2, with the final Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) due on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. Interested contractors can obtain solicitation documents from http://pw.lacounty.gov/brcd/servicecontracts or contact Mr. Jairo Flores at (626) 458-4069 or Ms. Amber Albert at (626) 458-4199. The RFSQ will create a qualified vendor list from which Public Works can select contractors for graffiti removal projects as needed, with contractors expected to demonstrate technical capabilities, operational readiness, and compliance with county requirements.

While the solicitation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or enterprise requirements, it does mandate submission of a Living Wage Exemption Form (LW-2), suggesting potential wage and labor standards compliance expectations. The procurement appears open to qualified contractors with demonstrated graffiti removal expertise, though specific qualification criteria are not fully detailed in the available documentation. No incumbent vendor information, specific award values, or budget ranges were provided in the solicitation materials. The contract mechanism allows for flexible engagement of qualified contractors as graffiti removal needs arise, indicating a potentially ongoing and dynamic procurement approach. Contractors interested in being considered must carefully review the full RFSQ documentation and ensure complete compliance with all submission requirements, including timely filing of necessary forms and meeting the June 11, 2025 submission deadline.
