About this opportunity

The City of Fort Worth is issuing Request for Quote (RFQt) No. 26-0055 to procure latent print evidence lockers for the Police Department on an as-needed basis. The procurement requires vendors to provide and install two locker units: one single-tier locker measuring 18" wide by 22" deep by 76" high with a 4" base, and one three-tier locker with identical dimensions. Each locker must feature keypad entry, be constructed of coated metal finished in marine blue, and be delivered fully assembled and installed on-site at 3616 E. Lancaster Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas 76103, with delivery occurring Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. following a minimum 24-hour advance notification requirement. The required delivery timeframe is eight to ten weeks after receipt of order. Quote evaluation will be based on unit price, total quote price, terms and discounts, delivery date, vendor's past performance and responsibility, demography charges, freight costs, and estimated maintenance and storage costs. Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Euna Portal by the closing date of December 9, 2025, with an acceptance period of 90 calendar days after opening. All submissions must include completed RFQt-01 forms, a completed bid table, and a Small Business Enterprise Certificate if applicable.

The City of Fort Worth is subject to the Small Business Program under Ordinance No. 27832-08-2025, and vendors should be aware that the procurement is open to organizations meeting City specifications, with the City reserving the right to make multiple awards and reject bids from vendors with prior performance failures. Successful bidders must register for direct deposit payments prior to providing goods or services and are required to provide a standard commercial warranty with all products. The contract terms establish an initial one-year period with the option to renew for up to four additional one-year periods unless either party provides 90 days' notice of non-renewal prior to expiration, with prices remaining firm for the contract term and including all associated freight and delivery costs. Price adjustments are permitted only on an annual basis upon 90 days' written notice and substantiation of cost increases. The vendor services agreement requires commercial general liability insurance of $1,000,000 per occurrence, automobile liability, workers' compensation, and professional liability coverage. No specific contract value or budget range is disclosed in the procurement documents; however, the award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder whose bid price is reasonable and in the best interest of the City.
