About this opportunity

The State of Georgia, through Thomas County, has issued a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Engineering Firm consulting services to assist with Lead and Copper Rule compliance. The scope of work includes funding administration, water service inventory development, field investigations, service line replacement plan development, and project closeout. The selected Engineering Firm must be technically qualified and licensed in the state of Georgia. Statements of Qualifications are due by 4:00 PM on July 30, 2024, and must be submitted directly to the City of Boston. A selection committee will evaluate submissions using the provided scoring criteria to select a firm through a qualifications-based process. Interested parties can request copies of the Qualifications Form and Scoring Criteria prior to submitting their Statement of Qualifications. Questions related to the RFQ will be received in writing until 5:00 PM on July 5, 2024.

The RFQ encourages Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) to apply. It does not provide any details on pricing terms, funding amounts or sources, or incumbent contractors. The selected Engineering Firm will be required to provide errors and omissions insurance and demonstrate experience managing grant-funded projects, including cost estimates, drawdowns, and closeout documents.
