About this opportunity
Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority (SORTA) is requesting quotations for eighteen line items of inventory parts supporting transit operations under RFQ 5459, with responses due October 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. via electronic submission through the e-Procurement Portal. All bids submitted outside the portal or in formats other than the provided Bid Pricing Form will be considered non-responsive.
The scope comprises mechanical and electrical components including clamps, valves, switches, sensors, gaskets, and panels, with quantities ranging from one to twenty units per item. Suppliers must quote original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts as specified; if quoting replacement or alternative part numbers, the format "(RM#######)" and specific part number must be entered in the lead-time notes field. Core fees, if applicable, must be identified in the notes field of the pricing table.
Pricing must be all-inclusive with freight charges incorporated into unit costs. Lead times must be specified in days only and must reflect the time required to deliver the entire ordered quantity; "stock" quotes still require a lead-time entry for fair evaluation. Quotes are valid for thirty days from submission.
Award will be made to the lowest responsive bid from a responsible bidder. Evaluation criteria include vendor qualifications, past performance, financial resources, compliance with licensing and tax regulations, and ability to meet delivery schedules. SORTA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to waive minor irregularities.
Questions should be directed to David Drummonds, Supply Chain Coordinator, at ddrummonds@go-metro.com or (513) 632-7548.

RFQ Bid Form Instructions
BIDS NOT SUBMITTED THROUGH E-PROCUREMENT PORTAL WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE
PLEASE CONTACT THE BUYER DIRECTLY WITH ANY QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH A BID
• All suppliers shall utilize the pricing table within the E-procurement portal. Bids received in other formats may be considered non-responsive.
• Items of Importance:
- All quotes must have the freight included in the price.
- Lead time: L/T must be noted in the NOTES column in the bid table. This is the lead-time required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ. Lead-time should be in days only and reflect the number of days required to fulfill the entire delivered qty on the RFQ.
- "Stock" quotes are subjective and will still require a L/T in days for us to fairly evaluate bids.
- If the part is not OEM or the specific part # requested, please put the following format in the lead time notes with the specific part # you are quoting. (RM#######)
- Enter any Core fee in the NOTES field located in the pricing table
- If you do not carry a part, please select "no bid."
