About this opportunity
The Liberty County School System is seeking bids for a generator replacement project designated as RFP2025-13, specifically targeting generator replacements at Joseph Martin Elementary School (JMES) and another school site. The procurement is open to firms authorized to conduct business in Georgia, with a comprehensive request for proposals focused on replacing existing generator infrastructure. The bidding process is structured with a specific timeline, including a pre-bid conference scheduled for February 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM, located at Joseph Martin Elementary School in Hinesville, GA. Interested vendors must submit sealed bids before 10:00 AM on February 17, 2025, with the official advertising period running from January 17, 2025, through February 19, 2025. While specific evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, vendors can expect standard municipal procurement requirements such as technical capability, compliance with specifications, and competitive pricing.
The procurement appears to be an open competitive bid without explicit set-aside designations for disadvantaged business enterprises, though standard state and local procurement practices often include provisions for minority or small business participation. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are mentioned in the documentation, and specific details about existing generator infrastructure requiring integration are not provided. Similarly, the precise budget range or potential contract award value is not specified in the available information. Potential bidders should be prepared to demonstrate technical expertise in generator replacement, familiarity with educational facility infrastructure requirements, and compliance with Georgia state procurement regulations. Interested firms should carefully review the full request for proposal documentation and attend the pre-bid conference to gain comprehensive understanding of project expectations and technical specifications.
