About this opportunity

Yakima County is requesting proposals for comprehensive modernization of four elevators across three county buildings under RFP, with proposals due September 10, 2026. Washington prevailing wage requirements apply to this public works project.

The scope encompasses turnkey modernization of two 2,500-pound traction passenger elevators operating at 350 feet per minute (Units PE1 and PE2) in the Courthouse; one 2,500-pound basement traction passenger elevator at 200 feet per minute (Unit 1180) in the General Administration Building; and one 4,000-pound hydraulic passenger elevator at 150 feet per minute (Unit PE3) in the Main Jail. An alternate scope includes cellular gateway voice and data integration.
