About this opportunity
Western Tidewater Community Services Board is requesting proposals for armed and unarmed security officer services for its Crisis Stabilization Unit on an as-needed basis, with proposals due August 24, 2026. This is a requirements contract with no minimum purchase obligation; estimated quantities reflect current need only, and the Board may require services in amounts less than or greater than the estimate without triggering additional compensation claims beyond unit pricing for services actually delivered.
The scope covers permanent and/or temporary security officer staffing as required by the Board during the contract term and any extensions. Specific staffing levels, hourly rates, shift requirements, and qualifications are not detailed in the source material.
The procurement is open to qualified firms meeting the Board's unstated capability and certification standards for armed and unarmed security personnel. No set-aside, preference program, local-vendor requirement, or restricted eligibility is indicated. The place of performance is the Crisis Stabilization Unit facility in Greensville County, Virginia. No contract value ceiling, contract term duration, or incumbent contractor is identified in the source. No pre-bid meeting, site visit, or question deadline is listed.
