DCHA intends to award multiple three-year fixed-price contracts with options to extend for four additional one-year terms, potentially reaching five years, with month-to-month extensions possible thereafter. Minor malfunctions costing less than $500 per device are included in preventive maintenance at no additional charge; repairs between $2,000 and $10,000 require prior Contracting Officer's Technical Representative approval; repairs exceeding $10,000 may be competitively bid. Emergency service calls require two-hour response; routine calls require four-hour response. Contractors must maintain 24-hour emergency response capabilities and adequate replacement parts inventory, and submit monthly maintenance schedules, work tickets, and condition reports.
