About this opportunity
The City of Peachtree City, Georgia is soliciting proposals for architectural and construction management consulting services under an annual contract, with the amended proposal deadline of August 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM local time.
The scope encompasses full-service design and construction management for public facilities including police stations, fire stations, recreation facilities, and administrative offices, with services ranging from concept through completion. Firms must provide surveying, environmental, geotechnical, structural, and civil-site design capabilities either in-house or through subcontractors. Minimum qualification is ten years' experience in designing and managing construction and rehabilitation of public facilities, including federally funded projects. Projects will be assigned on an as-needed basis with scope and fees negotiated for each task order. The City anticipates that at least one project will utilize ARPA federal funding, requiring compliance with Davis-Bacon Act provisions, Equal Employment Opportunity regulations, Byrd Anti-Lobbying Amendment certification, debarment and suspension verification through SAM, and E-Verify authorization under Georgia law.
Proposals are evaluated on hourly rates for principals, project managers, senior and junior professionals, pre-professionals, administrators, and CAD professionals (30% weight); ten years' experience in designing and managing public and federally funded projects (60% weight); references including at least three federally funded projects (5% weight); and geographic considerations (5% weight). Subconsultant costs must be marked as cost plus a percentage.
Insurance requirements are Commercial General Liability of $1 million, Professional Liability of $2 million per claim and in the aggregate, Workers' Compensation as required by Georgia, and Commercial Umbrella or Excess Liability of $2 million. The contract term runs from execution through September 30, 2023, with automatic renewal for additional one-year periods unless either party provides thirty days' written notice prior to expiration. Questions were due by the original deadline; Addendum #1 extended the proposal submission deadline only.
