RFP 739-SL3627152 Data Communication System Cable and Fiber Installation Services

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC), a part of the Texas Tech University System, is seeking proposals from qualified firms for Data Communication System Cable and Fiber Installation Services. The required services include the installation of Category 6 data cabling, fiber optic cabling, racks, patch panels, and related components at multiple TTUHSC campuses across Texas. The RFP provides detailed service specifications and minimum requirements for proposers, such as pricing schedules for various cable, connector, and equipment installation services. Proposals are due by July 17, 2024, and the anticipated term of the resulting agreement is one year, with two optional one-year renewal periods. The evaluation criteria include the proposer's qualifications, experience, and pricing, as well as compliance with the RFP requirements.

The RFP includes specific requirements for historically underutilized business (HUB) subcontracting plans, and TTUHSC is exempt from Texas sales and use tax. The agency has the right to reject any and all proposals and may reissue the RFP if fewer than three proposals are received. Additionally, any resulting agreement may be subject to review and approval by the Texas Tech University System Board of Regents. The RFP does not specify any incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor does it provide a budget range for the procurement.
