Opportunity text

Henry County is seeking qualified consulting firms to develop a Freight Cluster Plan that will evaluate existing and future freight transportation needs within the study area. The Freight Cluster Plan Program provides local governments and Community Improvement Districts (CIDs) funds for local planning with a focus on freight movement. The purpose of freight cluster plans is to address transportation planning, traffic operations, and related planning needs, and to identify recommended projects and policy changes to address those needs. Recommended projects should aim to be competitive for local, state, and federal funding with adequate information and cost estimates to complete potential grant applications and be prepared for advancement to Scoping and/or PE phases. These plans, while focused on local issues and needs, also serve as the groundwork for regional planning efforts led by the Atlanta Regional Commission. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to fulfill the terms and conditions of this RFP. Contractors must currently be registered and active with SAM.gov. RFPs will be accepted until 3:00 PM local time on Thursday, July 30, 2026. Late RFPs will not be considered nor returned.
