About this opportunity

The Clarke County School District (CCSD) is seeking qualified vendors to design, supply, install, and maintain an Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station specifically for Vision Electric buses within their Transportation Department. This Request for Proposals (RFP# 25-0220) requires vendors to provide comprehensive EV charging infrastructure that supports the district's electric bus fleet. The procurement process mandates a pre-proposal conference and site visit on February 6, 2025, at 9:00 AM EST, located at 165 Paradise Boulevard in Athens, Georgia. Interested vendors must submit sealed proposals via email to Veronica Jackson at jacksonv@clarke.k12.ga.us by February 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM EST. Vendors are expected to thoroughly review solicitation documentation and prepare questions prior to the mandatory conference, which may be recorded and integrated into the solicitation's official documentation. Any modifications resulting from the conference will be communicated through written addenda, and failure to comply with written requirements may result in proposal rejection.

While specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are not explicitly detailed in the procurement notice, potential respondents must meet the district's qualifications for designing and implementing EV charging infrastructure. The RFP emphasizes that only the Purchasing Department is authorized to modify specifications, terms, and conditions of the proposal. Vendors must demonstrate technical expertise in electric vehicle charging station design, installation, and maintenance for transportation fleets. The procurement appears focused on establishing a comprehensive charging solution for electric buses, though specific budget ranges or award values are not disclosed in the available documentation. Interested vendors should carefully review all solicitation materials and prepare comprehensive proposals that address the technical and operational requirements of the EV charging station project for the Clarke County School District's transportation needs.
