About this opportunity
The Savannah Airport Commission (SAC), a public entity operating under Georgia law as an agency of the City of Savannah in Chatham County, is issuing RFP 2026-0014 to solicit proposals from qualified firms for comprehensive redesign services of the Credentialing Office. The scope of work encompasses site assessment, design development, cost estimation, visual renderings, and coordination services for approximately 630 square feet of space designed to enhance operational efficiency and workflow. The redesign must accommodate four workstations (including one ADA-compliant station), two-sided workstations featuring seated-height employee desks and sitting-height customer counters, integrated equipment for computers, scanners, badge printers, and webcams, a break area with microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine, and water machine capabilities, and an interior employee door. Deliverables must include separate, itemized pricing for SAC's proposed layout design, alternative or unique layout designs if recommended, and optional features or enhancements. Evaluation will be conducted by a minimum three-person panel using weighted criteria: Design Quality & Functionality (30 points), Project Timeline (25 points), Visual Renderings & Documentation (20 points), Pricing (20 points), and Local/Small Business/Minority Business designation (5 points). A mandatory pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for April 20, 2026, at 1:30 PM with mandatory site visits either immediately following or on April 23, 2026, at 8:00 AM; attendance at a site visit is a prerequisite for proposal submission. Written questions must be submitted by April 29, 2026, with proposals due by 5:00 PM EST on May 19, 2026, through the Bonfire Hub portal, and award notification scheduled for no later than July 15, 2026.
Small business, local business, and minority business enterprises receive consideration through the evaluation criteria, which allocates five points for applicable designations. The RFP does not identify any incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing infrastructure requiring integration beyond the standard equipment noted (computers, scanners, badge printers, and webcams). No specific budget range or award value is disclosed in the RFP; however, proposers are responsible for all costs incurred during proposal preparation and submission, which will not be reimbursed by SAC. The contract will be executed between SAC and the selected proposer prior to work commencement, with a Notice to Proceed issued following execution, and the Commission reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time with thirty days' written notice. Award will be made to the most responsible and advantageous respondent as determined by SAC's sole discretion, rather than automatically to the lowest bidder. A Cone of Silence restriction prohibits all communications regarding the solicitation with any member of the governing authority, evaluation committee, or staff except through the designated Procurement Officer, Christy Dixon (cdixon@flySAV.com).
