This procurement seeks qualified contractors to complete miscellaneous structural repairs to the Cumberland Falls State Resort Lodge and State Park Overlooks, including installation of six screw jacks to support wood floor beams at four locations, concrete spall repair of concrete columns, repair of damaged floor joists and CMU wall cracks (6 linear feet without helical stitching ties), restoration of eleven stone pilasters at the falls overlooks with CMU infilling and potential relocation to avoid field conflicts, replacement of a fire-damaged concrete overlook with new cast-in-place concrete structure, and repairs to handrails (reusing existing rails at eleven post locations), curbs, and wood post bases at the Visitor's Center. Bidders are required to register in the Commonwealth's Vendor Self Service (VSS) System at https://vss.ky.gov prior to submission, allowing 24-48 hours for account activation, and must attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for December 6, 2024, at 2:00 PM ET at the lodge lobby. All bid documents, including the Official Bid Document and any required Bid Bond, must be combined as a single PDF attachment and submitted exclusively through the Commonwealth's eProcurement system, with bids closing on December 23, 2024, at 1:30 PM ET; a public bid reading will be conducted via conference call at 3:00 PM ET on the closing date using dial-in number 502-782-2663 or 844-603-5060 with Conference ID 240522002 and Participant code 39750. The bid documents provided do not specify set-aside designations, restrictions on types of organizations that can respond, disadvantaged enterprise requirements, incumbent vendors or current contractors, or the contract award value or budget range. Bidders should note that Addendum No. 1, issued December 13, 2024, by KPFF Consulting Engineers contains clarifications and modifications binding all bidders, and contractors must verify receipt of all addenda through the state plan room to ensure compliance with current specifications. For site visit coordination and project-specific questions, bidders may contact Chris Seals at cseals@ky.gov or the project Architect/Consultant and Project Manager whose contact information is provided in the bid documents.
