About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is seeking a procurement for RETAINER, RUBBER under solicitation number 2097219, with bid documents posted on December 19, 2025, and responses due by December 26, 2025. The procurement is specifically located in Dallas County, Texas, and requires Bonfire registration to access complete bid details. While specific technical specifications for the rubber retainer are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the solicitation emphasizes critical procurement terms including mandatory FOB Destination shipping, strict delivery performance expectations, and comprehensive documentation requirements. Vendors must submit invoices electronically to APInvoices@dart.org with precise documentation including purchase order number, item descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. DART has established rigorous performance standards, noting that failure to meet delivery timelines could result in order rejection and potential default termination. The procurement process mandates that all bids reflect complete pricing including freight costs, with DART's standard payment terms set at net 30 days from invoice or order receipt.

The solicitation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. However, the purchase order terms include critical vendor certifications requiring compliance with equal opportunity provisions, confirmation of no conflicts of interest with DART officials, and attestation of non-association with designated foreign terrorist organizations. Vendors must warrant that their supplies are of merchantable quality and suitable for intended use. The document indicates that the procurement will be governed by Texas law, with dispute resolution managed through the Contracting Officer's decisions and potential appeals to the Authority. While no specific award value or budget range is provided in the available documentation, the procurement appears structured for a standard supply contract. The terms and conditions suggest DART seeks a responsive, reliable vendor capable of meeting precise delivery and quality specifications for the rubber retainer, with potential for ongoing procurement relationships based on performance.
