Request for quote to procure various paints

The District of Columbia has issued a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of various paints, with a specific focus on meeting the jurisdiction's paint requirements. The solicitation, identified by the contract opportunity ID 66c85f86829eb5d86907603c, was posted on December 17, 2010, with a response deadline of December 21, 2010. While specific details about the exact paint types, quantities, and precise technical specifications are not explicitly outlined in the provided documentation, the procurement appears to be a straightforward acquisition of painting materials. The extremely short timeline between posting and response deadline suggests an urgent or expedited procurement process. Potential vendors would need to carefully review the full solicitation documents to understand the complete scope of requirements, expected paint characteristics, delivery expectations, and any specific application contexts within District of Columbia facilities or projects.

No specific set-aside designations, vendor restrictions, or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are explicitly stated in the available information. Similarly, details about incumbent vendors, existing paint supply contracts, or integration requirements are not provided. The documentation does not specify a clear budget range or potential award value for this paint procurement opportunity. Without additional context, it is challenging to determine the precise scope of the paint acquisition or the specific organizational constraints for potential bidders. Interested vendors would need to obtain the complete solicitation package to fully understand the procurement parameters, submission requirements, and evaluation criteria for this District of Columbia paint requirement.
