About this opportunity
The State of Maine Division of Purchases is requesting bids for additional disk storage space, with bids due November 3, 2009.
Bidders must submit separate unit prices for each item on prescribed forms or electronic mediums. Sealed bids or electronic responses must reach the Division of Purchases office by the closing date and time; bids received after that deadline will not be considered. All pricing must include transportation charges, trade discounts, and delivery to the specified destination. The State is exempt from Federal and Maine State Sales and Use Taxes, and bidders must exclude these from quotes. Unit price governs in cases of discrepancy with total price.
The Division reserves the right to reject any or all bids, accept items individually or in groups, and award based on lowest responsible bidder consideration with emphasis on best value to the State. Cash discounts of 20 days or more will be factored into bid evaluation; discounts under 20 days will not. The Division may increase or decrease quantities by up to 10 percent unless otherwise stated. Tie bids will be resolved in favor of in-state bidders or those offering Maine-produced commodities or services.
Bidders may propose alternate commodities with complete descriptive literature if deviating from specifications. All deliveries must comply with applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations. Contractors must furnish hazardous chemical material safety data sheets as required by Maine's Chemical Substance Identification Law. Amendments or withdrawals must be submitted in writing prior to contract award.
