About this opportunity

The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners' Purchasing Department has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for repair parts from Ashcroft OEM manufacturers on a term contract basis. The procurement seeks a single fixed percentage discount or markup on Ashcroft OEM repair parts, with the evaluation item consisting of a 4-inch, 100 psi dry NPT lower pressure gauge (Part #10-1008S-04L-100). Quotations must be submitted by November 12, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. Palm Beach County local time via fax or email to the Purchasing Department, with no formal bidder's conference or site visit specified. The contract shall be issued for twelve months or until the estimated amount is expended, at the County's discretion, with an anticipated contract value of $70,000. Pricing must consist of a single fixed percentage discount or markup applied to the current price list(s) selected by the quoter, with all unit prices provided to two decimal points, and quoters must submit a copy of the applicable price list page containing the evaluation item with their response or risk being deemed non-responsive. Separate shipping charges are not permitted and must be factored into the discount or markup percentage offered, with the F.O.B. point designated as destination, placing title, transportation responsibility, liability, and risk in transit with the vendor.

Palm Beach County offers a 5% local preference for quoters with a permanent place of business in Palm Beach County and maintains a Small/Minority/Women Business Enterprise (S/M/WBE) program with established participation goals, whereby quoters certified as small businesses within 10% of the lowest responsive bid may be considered for award. All quoters must register in the County's Vendor Self Service system, comply with commercial non-discrimination policies, and demonstrate drug-free workplace compliance to receive tie-bid preference. The successful quoter shall receive a term contract for twelve months with the option to renew for four additional twelve-month periods, subject to mutual written agreement and appropriation of funds by the Board of County Commissioners. Payment shall be made following receipt, acceptance, and proper invoicing of delivered goods in accordance with the Florida Prompt Payment Act. No minimum order requirements apply, and the anticipated contract value is $70,000 with no incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure integration requirements identified in this procurement.
