About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting a one-year blanket purchase order for repair services of CommScope Node A Amplifier Modules under Solicitation No. 21181. The procurement covers repair services for four specific amplifier module types: DCM AF 4037 (450/460 MHz), DCM AF 7037 (700 MHz), DCM AF 8037 (800 MHz), and DCM AF 9037 (900 MHz), with an estimated quantity of four units per module type to be repaired during the contract period. All repairs must be completed and delivered with a 12-month warranty, with pricing required on a per-unit basis for each amplifier module type, including all associated costs such as labor, materials, freight, and other charges. Vendors must submit proposals in response to the solicitation by January 30, 2026, with registration in the BONFIRE system required to access complete details and the bid table. Offerors must sign and date all schedule pages and submit them with their proposal, and the contract term will commence one year from the award date. The procurement requires FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, Net 30 payment terms from invoice receipt or order receipt (whichever is later), and timely delivery performance is essential, with failure to meet specified delivery schedules constituting grounds for rejection and default termination.

No set-aside designations or restrictions specific to disadvantaged enterprises or other organization types are identified in the available solicitation documents. The documents do not reference any incumbent vendors, current contractors, or specific existing infrastructure or technology integration requirements beyond the repair specifications for the CommScope amplifier modules. The procuring jurisdiction is Dallas County, Texas, and all vendors are advised that DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes, with any such taxes included on invoices to be deducted from payment. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and include the purchase order number, item number, description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. The solicitation documents do not provide a specific budget range or estimated award value, though the procurement is structured as a blanket purchase order with estimated quantities and per-unit pricing for the repair services over the one-year contract period.
