About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a purchase order opportunity designated RELAY | 2099150, posted on May 5, 2026, with a deadline for submission on May 12, 2026. While the specific goods or services being procured are not detailed in the available documentation, the procurement is governed by DART's comprehensive Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which establish mandatory requirements for all vendors. Bidders must access the BidTable through the Bonfire registration system to view detailed project specifications and submit vendor responses. Key requirements include submission of bids and quotes reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms with all freight costs included in the overall price, strict adherence to specified delivery schedules and rates as essential contract elements, and compliance with DART's Net 30 payment terms. Vendors must be prepared to submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org containing the purchase order number, item number, description, sizes, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Additional mandatory qualifications include compliance with equal employment opportunity regulations, certification that the vendor is not listed on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts, and verification that neither the vendor nor affiliated entities boycott Israel.

The procurement documentation does not identify any specific set-asides for disadvantaged enterprises, small businesses, or other restricted categories of vendors, indicating this appears to be an open competition. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the available materials. DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes, and any such taxes appearing on vendor invoices will be deducted from payment amounts. The specific budget or award value for this purchase order is not disclosed in the provided documentation. All contractual disputes and remedies are governed by Texas law with exclusive venue in Dallas County, Texas, and DART reserves the right to terminate any order for default if the seller fails to meet delivery schedules or other performance obligations specified in the purchase order.
