About this opportunity
Los Angeles County is soliciting bids for rehabilitation of Sewer Lift Stations S-19, S-28, and S-29, with proposals due September 1, 2026.
The scope encompasses sewer infrastructure construction and rehabilitation across three lift stations. Work includes construction of approximately 848 lineal feet of 6-inch HDPE and PVC sewer lateral extension with cleanouts and maintenance holes; tie-ins to existing 3-inch lateral and the S-30 Sewer Lift Station wet well; abandonment of existing 3-inch sewer lateral; and relocation of conflicting fire hydrant laterals and a 10-inch asbestos cement sewer force main. The project requires replacement of approximately 678 lineal feet of 10-inch sewer force main for the Queen Mary via open trenching with HDPE pipe, jacking and boring of 20-inch steel casing, and inspection maintenance hole construction. S-29 abandonment includes removal of mechanical improvements within the wet well, structure abandonment, 3-inch force main abandonment, and demolition of pump control panel, conduits, and wiring. S-19 rehabilitation encompasses temporary sewer bypass, demolition and reconstruction of valve vault and mechanical equipment, removal and reconstruction of 6-inch force main sections, sewer bypass connection assembly construction, force main tie-in, and miscellaneous electrical improvements including new antenna. S-28 rehabilitation involves conduit and wiring relocation to the wet well, construction of new wet well and mechanical equipment, new valve vault and mechanical equipment, and electrical upgrades with new antenna. All work requires mobilization, labor, tools, transportation, and site demobilization.
