About this opportunity
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) is seeking to establish a pool of contractors to provide reliable and credible range riding services in areas of known wolf pack occupancy and possibly in areas where proactive measures are being implemented. The contract term is one year, with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions at WDFW's discretion. Proposals will be accepted until December 31, 2024, and WDFW will evaluate proposals as they are received, awarding contracts to all responsive and responsible proposers who meet the minimum qualifications. Range riders will be reimbursed at a rate of $26.25 per hour for up to 7 hours, and $250 per day for 8 or more hours, with travel costs outside of the proposed counties reimbursed at current state rates. WDFW will not reimburse costs that have been or will be charged to other parties under separate contracts.
This contract opportunity is open to all qualified contractors, and there are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The procurement does not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and there are no requirements for integration with existing infrastructure or technology. The procurement documents do not provide specific award values or budget ranges.
