About this opportunity

Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for radio interface cables through a competitive procurement process referenced as solicitation numbers 2096189 and 2096190. The procurement is specifically for radio interface cables, with the opportunity posted on November 30, 2025, and proposals due by December 4, 2025. Vendors must complete registration through the Bonfire platform to access complete bid details and submit responses. The procurement requires vendors to provide cables with precise specifications, with delivery terms emphasizing that time and delivery rate are critical elements of the contract. Vendors must submit bids reflecting FOB Destination shipping terms, with freight costs included in the overall pricing. All proposals must comply with DART's purchase order terms and conditions, which include comprehensive requirements for invoice submission, product quality, and delivery expectations. Evaluation will likely focus on vendor compliance with technical specifications, pricing, delivery capabilities, and adherence to the prescribed submission guidelines.

While specific set-aside designations are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, DART's terms suggest a commitment to fair procurement practices. The agency requires vendors to comply with equal opportunity provisions and provide certifications regarding terrorist organization affiliations and Israel boycott status. Vendors must also avoid conflicts of interest involving DART officials or board members. Payment terms are standardized at Net 30, calculated from the later of invoice or order receipt, with invoices to be submitted electronically to APInvoices@dart.org. The procurement allows for potential default termination if vendors fail to meet specified delivery schedules or contractual provisions. While specific award values are not disclosed, the procurement appears focused on acquiring critical radio interface cables for DART's operational infrastructure. Vendors must demonstrate capability to provide high-quality, specification-compliant cables with reliable and timely delivery to support DART's transportation network operations.
