About this opportunity
The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center (MD Anderson) in Houston, Texas is seeking proposals for an enhanced Radiation Oncology Information System (rOIS) through a Request for Proposal (RFP). The selected supplier will provide an enterprise-wide rOIS that can support up to 400 concurrent users initially, with the ability to expand as needed. The rOIS must integrate with MD Anderson's existing Electronic Health Record (EHR) system and various other third-party applications and systems. Key requirements include functionality for treatment plan management, scheduling, reporting and dashboards, IT integration, and administrative capabilities such as charge capture and financial clearance. The selected supplier will also provide comprehensive implementation, integration, training, support, and maintenance services. Shortlisted suppliers will be invited to provide on-site or remote product demonstrations, and the final selected supplier will provide access to a fully developed rOIS in a test environment for evaluation by MD Anderson users. The contract will be awarded to the supplier that best meets MD Anderson's requirements and vision for the Radiation Oncology division. The RFP is due on February 7, 2024.
The contract opportunity is open to all qualified suppliers, and there are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The RFP does not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor does it provide any information on existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The RFP also does not specify any award values or budget ranges.
