About this opportunity
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), specifically Hocking Hills State Park, is seeking to procure a Ryan's Equipment 1251 fixed grapple to be attached to a John Deere 50G mini excavator for parks and watercraft operations. The procurement is a Request for Quote (RFQ) located in Hocking County, targeting grounds keeping and park maintenance equipment. The project requires delivery to Hocking Hills State Park at 19852 State Route 664 South, Logan, Ohio 43138, with a completion/delivery date of June 16, 2025. Contract award will be determined by the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, calculated through multiplying unit costs by estimated usage. Bidders must provide two examples of similar completed projects with photos and contact information, and are required to complete a pre-award meeting with DNR staff to ensure mutual understanding of materials and scope. The submission deadline is May 20, 2025, and all invoices must be submitted directly to Financial Shared Services (FSS) with specific documentation requirements, including a unique invoice number and complete itemization of services.
The contract opportunity does not explicitly specify set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises. The purchase order is valid only through June 30, 2025, with any goods or services after that date requiring a new PO. Contractors must comply with strict geographical requirements mandated by the Affirmation and Disclosure Form, which stipulates that all services and state data must be located within the United States unless a formal waiver is obtained. Potential bidders must obtain an OH|ID credential to access the OhioBuys procurement platform and must adhere to the State of Ohio's Standard Terms and Conditions, which include comprehensive guidelines for data management, security protocols, and performance standards. While a specific budget range is not provided, the procurement appears to be for a single piece of specialized equipment for park maintenance. Contractors must also be prepared to meet rigorous invoicing requirements, including providing detailed billing information and understanding that incomplete submissions will result in invoice returns and payment delays.
