About this opportunity

Tarrant County, Texas is requesting bids on Marine Creek Sanitary Sewer Parallel Interceptor M-279 & M-245B — Part II (PW-103497-2), a phased water and wastewater infrastructure project with bids due October 29, 2026.

Unit I comprises sanitary sewer improvements totaling approximately 8,430 linear feet across four installation methods and ancillary work. Open-cut installation accounts for approximately 5,430 linear feet of 48-inch through 72-inch and 6-inch through 18-inch sanitary sewer pipe. Other-than-open-cut work includes approximately 570 linear feet of 72-inch pipe via open-shield pipejacking within 90-inch steel casing, and approximately 2,430 linear feet of 48-inch through 72-inch pipe within 60-inch through 100-inch steel casing or tunnel liner plate. The scope also includes bypass pumping of existing sanitary sewer lines, construction of two sanitary sewer siphon structures, and construction of two sanitary sewer junction structures. All pipe installations require associated appurtenances and testing.

Unit II comprises water improvements totaling approximately 7,235 linear feet. Open-cut installation covers approximately 6,530 linear feet of 36-inch and 6-inch through 12-inch water pipe. Other-than-open-cut work includes approximately 280 linear feet of 36-inch pipe within 48-inch steel casing or 50-inch tunnel liner plate, and approximately 425 linear feet of 24-inch AWWA C200 steel water pipe on an existing bridge. Cathodic protection of 24-inch through 36-inch water pipe with appurtenances and testing rounds out the scope.

The project is located in Tarrant County. Questions are due by the proposal deadline of October 29, 2026.
