About this opportunity
The City of Yonkers, located in Westchester County, New York, is conducting a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of specific power supply and power management equipment for the Yonkers Fire Department's Fire Special Operations division. The procurement specifically seeks two Milwaukee power supply items: 2 units of Milwaukee Part # 3300R Power Supply (20V DC, Three-Prong) and 2 units of Milwaukee Power Manager (20 Amp Circuit, Model# 3333-20A). Vendors are required to submit fixed, firm unit prices that include shipping and delivery, with the city reserving the right to award based on price, availability, and lead time. The RFQ mandates that vendors provide detailed technical specifications, particularly for any "equal" product proposals, with final approval determined by the Yonkers Fire Department. Vendors must also submit the Rider Contract Provisions for Non-Federal Entity Contracts under federal awards. The quote submission deadline is October 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM, with vendors required to email their quotes to Vanessa.brembs@yonkersny.gov.
The procurement opportunity encourages participation from New York State Certified Minority or Women Owned Business Enterprises, though no explicit set-aside is mentioned. Vendors must comply with comprehensive federal contract provisions, including non-discrimination practices, wage requirements, environmental compliance, and financial transparency standards. The contract provisions include adherence to regulations such as the Davis-Bacon Act, Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and Clean Air and Water Pollution Control Acts. Contractors must verify they are not debarred and must allow access to records for auditing purposes. While a specific budget range is not disclosed, the procurement suggests a relatively small-scale purchase focused on specialized fire department equipment. Payment terms are set at Net 30 Days, and the City of Yonkers is exempt from sales and use taxes. Vendors must provide comprehensive documentation, including specification sheets and compliance forms, to be considered for the contract award.
