About this opportunity
Tarrant County, Texas is soliciting quotes for landscaping flowers, bulbs, and shrubs under solicitation *222278, with responses due November 2, 2026. Award goes to the lowest responsive and responsible vendor.
Quoted prices remain firm for 30 days from receipt unless extended by written agreement. Items are FOB delivery site unless the specifications state otherwise, and the City is the final judge of product acceptability. The City may reject any or all quotes and waive minor irregularities. Vendors must exclude federal excise, state, and local sales and use taxes because the City is exempt. Goods carry a one-year warranty from the official acceptance date, and vendors must replace failed, nonconforming, or defective goods at no cost, except for obvious abuse or misuse.
The only attached file is the City of Dallas General Conditions for Informal Solicitations form (BDPS-FRM-113), posted October 26, 2026. Vendors must have no outstanding liabilities to the City, including property taxes, occupancy taxes, licenses, permits, or utilities, and the City may offset amounts owed under the contract against debts owed to the City. Vendors may be disqualified for collusion, a history of fraudulent claims, arrearage or default on existing contracts, or lack of financial stability. If work is performed on City property, vendors must provide general liability and workers' compensation certificates before purchase order release.
