About this opportunity

The Georgia Institute of Technology, acting through the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, is seeking a vendor to purchase, deliver, and install a specialized climbing equipment system for the Campus Recreation Center located in Atlanta. Specifically, the procurement involves one 12x12 Lemur Board with Kilter Grips, which must be from the Setter Closet brand exclusively. The board must feature an electric articulating system capable of adjusting to multiple angles and include LED-enabled Kilter Grips. The procurement requires a companion app available on both Apple App Store and Google Play Store, with a minimum of 500 preloaded climbing routes. The solicitation is structured as a competitive bid process, with proposals due by April 1, 2025, and interested vendors must access the full sourcing event through the provided link at https://bids.sciquest.com/apps/Router/PublicEvent?CustomerOrg=GIT. The contract will be awarded to the single most responsive and responsible bidder, with the complete Scope of Work detailed in the sourcing event documentation.

While no specific set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions are explicitly mentioned in the solicitation, the procurement appears to be a specialized equipment purchase with precise technical requirements. The contract is geographically limited to Fulton County, Georgia, and targets a specific technological solution for campus recreational facilities. No information is provided about incumbent vendors or existing infrastructure that might require integration. The solicitation does not disclose a specific budget range or award value, though the specificity of the technical requirements suggests a significant investment in specialized climbing equipment technology. Vendors must carefully review the full Scope of Work and ensure complete compliance with the technical specifications, particularly the requirement for a Setter Closet brand Lemur Board with specific technological capabilities.
