About this opportunity

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is soliciting proposals for pump-and-treat services of contaminated groundwater, with proposals due September 2, 2026.

The scope centers on operation, maintenance, and monitoring of an extraction well system at the Valley Park TCE (trichloroethene) Site. The awardee must perform monthly inspections and maintenance of extraction wells, flow meters, antiscalant metering systems, sediment bag filters, and air stripper equipment. Required operational monitoring includes verification that extraction well flow rates remain between 178 and 182 gallons per minute, water levels stay between 35 and 50 feet below top of casing, and air stripper pressure holds between 35 and 42 inches of water. Monthly maintenance tasks include checking antiscalant levels, inspecting air stripper trays, draining the air stripper stack, tightening Fernco fittings, and gauging water levels at monitoring wells MW-55 and MW-56. Field personnel must document system status upon arrival and departure, record readings from E+H flow meters and pressure gauges, verify pump operation through SiteLink Controls online monitoring, and confirm proper electrical switch positions and control panel indicator light illumination. Variable frequency drive settings must be maintained between 37 and 42 Hz, with metering pump rates of approximately 0.03 gallons per day and sediment filter pressures between 2.5 and 9 psi depending on filter stage.

The monitoring and inspection form was last revised March 13, 2020, and serves as the standardized operational record for the remediation program. Attachment 1.pdf (posted August 5, 2026) has not been made available for review. Questions are due prior to the September 2 proposal deadline.
