About this opportunity

The City of Austin is requesting quotes on pump and generator mechanical lube oil under IFQ 1100 CPG1084, with quotes due September 15, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. The solicitation was initially issued to certified Small Business Enterprises (SBEs) and Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBEs) registered with the State of Texas and City of Austin certification systems; if adequate quotes are not received from certified vendors, the solicitation will be posted on the City's Austin Finance Online website and opened to all registered qualified vendors.

The approved manufacturer specification is IMO Industri part number ACG045N7NVBP. Offerors must provide their own manufacturer and part numbers for comparison and submit pricing on the provided price sheet indicating company name, authorized representative name, and email address. Pricing must be submitted on an FOB Destination basis with all freight charges, handling, and shipping included in the item price. The City of Austin is exempt from federal excise and state sales taxes; tax must not be included in quoted prices.

The City reserves the right to award based on lowest price meeting minimum requirements, with evaluation potentially conducted on individual line items, categories of line items, aggregate pricing, or other bases deemed most advantageous to the City. Payment will be made within thirty days of receipt of properly documented invoices, contingent upon delivery of goods to the City's satisfaction and application of any applicable payment discounts. Respondents must comply with City of Austin specifications and requirements, including wage theft certification, non-debarment certification, equal employment opportunity compliance, and critical electrical grid equipment procurement restrictions. Delivery can be arranged through vendor delivery or common carrier selection; if shipment is made by common carrier, workers' compensation, employee liability, and business automobile liability insurance requirements are waived. Quotes should be submitted to Christopher Gorski at christopher.gorski@austintexas.gov or 512-978-1527.
