About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of a bi-directional pump, oil, air compressor for Fleet 53 under contract opportunity number 2099205. This purchase order procurement requires vendors to supply equipment that meets DART's specifications and operational requirements for fleet maintenance and operations. The solicitation was posted on May 8, 2026, with a bid due date of May 22, 2026, providing vendors with a 14-day response window. All bids must be submitted through the BONFIRE registration system, where vendors can access detailed project specifications and bid tables by initiating the "Prepare Your Submission" process. Key requirements include FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall bid price, strict adherence to specified delivery timelines and rates, and compliance with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions. Vendors must provide commercial warranties ensuring merchantable quality and suitability for intended use, and all sellers are responsible for applicable federal, state, and local taxes and duties, though DART is exempt from Texas state and local sales and use taxes.
The solicitation does not explicitly identify set-aside designations or restrictions on respondent types based on the available documentation. However, all potential vendors must meet several compliance requirements, including equal employment opportunity commitments, certification that they are not identified on the Texas Comptroller's list of companies with foreign terrorist organization contracts, and verification that neither the vendor nor its affiliates boycott Israel. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis, with invoices due 30 days from receipt or 30 days from receipt of the order, whichever is later, and must be submitted to APInvoices@dart.org in triplicate format with specified documentation. No specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the available solicitation materials. DART reserves the right to terminate orders for default if performance requirements are not met or for convenience when deemed in the Authority's best interest, and all disputes are governed by Texas law with venue in Dallas County.
