About this opportunity
The City of Austin is requesting quotes for property signs under IFQ 1100 BAS1101, with quotes due September 18, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. M/WBE and HUB set-asides apply; if adequate quotes are not received from certified vendors in the initial notice phase, the solicitation will be posted online and circulated to all registered vendors for applicable commodity codes.
The scope comprises four line items: electronic surveillance notices (10" × 14", quantity 40), personal protective equipment required signs (14" × 10", quantity 40), no trespassing signs (10" × 14", quantity 50), and danger/explosion hazard signs (7" × 10", quantity 20). All items must be from COA-approved manufacturers or equivalent products; vendors must identify the manufacturer and part number for each item offered, with UTICOM referenced as an approved source for items 01–03. Delivery is required to Austin Energy-Cameron Warehouse at 14910 Cameron Road, Pflugerville, Texas.
Pricing must be submitted on the provided IFQ price sheet on an FOB Destination basis with all handling, shipping charges, and freight included in the quoted price. The City of Austin is exempt from federal excise tax and state sales tax; taxes must not be included in quoted prices. Payment terms allow for payment within thirty days of receipt of properly documented invoices, contingent upon delivery satisfying City specifications. Vendors may select either a common carrier or offer vendor delivery; if using a common carrier, Workers Compensation Employee Liability and Business Automobile Liability Insurance requirements are waived. Estimated quantities are not guaranteed, and the City reserves the right to purchase lesser amounts.
Contact Bailie Shotwell at 512-974-1977 or Bailie.Shotwell@AustinTexas.gov. Standard City requirements apply regarding insurance, non-discrimination certifications, wage theft compliance, debarment verification, and compliance with applicable federal, state, and local law.
