About this opportunity

Broward College is seeking responses to a Request for Letter of Interest for professional recruiting services for a presidential search, with replies due by 2:30 p.m. ET on October 8, 2026. This is a single-award procurement with no stated contract term.

The scope includes developing a recruitment strategy, actively sourcing and recruiting candidates from diverse backgrounds, maintaining applicant confidentiality, coordinating with the District Board of Trustees and Vice President for Human Resources, reviewing and summarizing applications, preparing progress reports, facilitating board interviews, and assisting with employment terms negotiation. The selected firm must present qualified candidates by November 30, 2026.

Minimum qualifications require at least three years of proven experience providing professional recruiting services for presidential searches of similar size and scope, with Florida experience highly preferred. Respondents must provide a Dun & Bradstreet D-U-N-S number, five client references (preferably from higher education institutions with detailed scope and service dates), and proof of insurability: commercial general liability ($1 million per occurrence), professional liability ($5 million per occurrence and aggregate), and cyber liability ($1 million) if applicable.

Respondents must submit a detailed, fully itemized fee structure with all service costs included; the College reserves the right to negotiate, adjust, or control pricing. No subcontracting of recruiting services is permitted. Responses must be submitted electronically through Euna OpenBids (DemandStar) at www.demandstar.com with digital files not exceeding 150 MBs. The College reserves the right to interview respondents and negotiate terms prior to award. All responses become the property of the College, which may adopt ideas or materials regardless of award decision. Respondents must comply with Florida Statutes, public records law, non-discrimination requirements, drug-free workplace certification, non-collusion affidavit, and scrutinized vendor list verification.
