About this opportunity

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for a SIMATIC NET Processor, Communication component (Procurement ID: 2099092) in Dallas County, Texas. This is a purchase order opportunity with a posting date of May 1, 2026, and a bid submission deadline of May 8, 2026. The procurement requires vendors to provide the specified processor component with FOB Destination shipping terms, with all freight costs included in the overall quoted price. Delivery time and rate are essential contractual elements, and vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which govern all aspects of the transaction including payment, warranty, and performance requirements. Vendors must submit invoices in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org with complete documentation including purchase order number, item number, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals. Payment will be made on a Net 30 basis, calculated from the later of invoice receipt or order receipt date. Failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination of the order.

The solicitation documentation does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to particular types of vendors or disadvantaged enterprises based on the available information. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or specific technology integration requirements are identified in the posted opportunity details. Similarly, no specific award value or budget range is disclosed in the procurement posting or supporting documentation. All vendors responding to this opportunity must comply with DART's contractual requirements regarding equal opportunity employment, certifications concerning foreign terrorist organizations and Israel boycotts, and compliance with Texas law, with venue established in Dallas County. Interested vendors must register with the Bonfire procurement platform and initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process to access the complete bid table and detailed project specifications necessary to develop a responsive proposal.
