About this opportunity
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority (DART) is soliciting bids for the procurement of aerosol spray primer, specifically Krylon Spar-Var black primer with low reflective value (LRV) product number BBP 398. This is a straightforward goods procurement posted on January 29, 2026, with a bid due date of February 5, 2026. Vendors must submit their responses through the BONFIRE registration system, which requires vendors to initiate the "Prepare Your Submission" process to access the complete bid table with project details and vendor response fields. All bids must reflect FOB Destination shipping terms with freight costs included in the overall price, and timely delivery is essential as failure to meet specified delivery schedules constitutes grounds for rejection and default termination. Vendors must comply with DART's standard Purchase Order Terms and Conditions, which govern all aspects of the procurement including invoice submission requirements, payment terms, warranty obligations, and equal employment opportunity commitments.
The procurement documentation does not specify any set-aside designations or restrictions limiting participation to particular categories of vendors or disadvantaged enterprises based on the available information provided. No incumbent vendors or current contractors are identified in the solicitation materials. The procurement does not reference specific integration requirements with existing infrastructure or technology systems. The exact award value or budget range for this purchase order is not disclosed in the posted opportunity details, though payment will be made on a Net 30 basis from invoice or order receipt, whichever is later. Vendors should note that DART requires invoices submitted in triplicate to APInvoices@dart.org and must include the purchase order number, item description, quantities, unit prices, and extended totals to facilitate processing and payment.
